A Twisted Christmas

Why didn't anyone tell me? Everyone knows I love Christmas music. Everyone knows I love Twisted Sister. It was pretty much a forgone conclusion that I would buy this. I've been screaming for someone to make a metal Christmas cd for twenty years. Granted, I ran out of time and money when it came out in 2006, and who wants to buy a Christmas cd in January? But as soon as the Christmas decorations came out this year, I remembered and I ordered it. Where were you all? I'm here for you. I tell you when things are good. I tell you when things are bad. Why didn't anybody warn me that this was just a horrible mess? I mean I was beyond disappointed. I was just offended. This is awful. And no, it's not awful because rock and Christmas don't mix, it's awful because they did a terrible job. Dee, in particular, did a terrible job. He's flat (frequently) and in the wrong key almost the whole time. I have to believe that he recorded this whole album in one take, and from the sound of it, probably with little or no rehersal time. It's really just embarrasing. Don't buy it. It makes rock look bad. It makes Christmas sound bad. I'm sticking with Bing Crosby and Perry Como. --Scott
