Baton Rouge
About five years after the band called it quits, the European label MTM thought there might still be a market for a new Baton Rouge album. I don’t know if they were right or not because I don’t know how it sold. It’s not exactly a reunion record though since the only original member was vocalist Kelly Keeling. Keeling helped write three of the twelve tracks and the rest were written by various songwriters and played by studio musicians. Guitar was taken over by long time producer, songwriter and invisible sixth member Jack Ponti. So they really resurrected the name more than the band, but even so, it’s a much better cd than their last one. --
