Set the World on Fire

Although notoriously hailed as their most commercial cd, and generally looked down upon by the hardcore fans of this band, I thought it was their best. The songwriting concentrated more on melodies and harmonies, but make no mistake, this is still a heavy disc. Only with this singer, Jeff Waters had an opportunity to explore some more melodic aspects of his writing, giving us some great songs like Sounds Good To Me and Phoenix Rising. --Scott
