Like it's counterpart "Load", "Reload" is not a traditional metallica album. It does however bring back a little of the anger and punch that was long gone on "Load". "Reload" was said to have been recorded at the same time as the last album but I think the guys may have changed a few things since then. The outrage fans displayed after the release of "Load" may have had a slight impact. Bright spots include Prince Charming, Fuel, and Better than you. It's not "master of puppets" but it's no "Load" either!

“When faith in saviours turns to doubt, and dreams just seem so far away, don't look back on your failures, don't you ever lose your hope. In a world of saviours you've got nothing but your own heart and soul to bear your crosses if you stumble on the way.”
